I recognize that individuals and families seek counseling for a variety of different reasons, which is why my primary objective is to clarify each client's personal goals and expectations.
I take a holistic view of individuals, which is to say that I see each person as a unique construction of their experiences of family, community, and culture. I consider these factors as well as developmental, emotional and spiritual themes as pathways for understanding personal hardships and for facilitating meaningful, long-term change.
As your therapist, I aim to provide a safe, confidential setting for trust to develop, and in the process of therapy, I utilize professional judgment to assess, support, and advocate on behalf of your targeted goals and intentions for counseling.
